Parents and Runners,
We now have less than a month until the Dipsea. Here is what to expect for the rest of the Dipsea Training Season.
There will be no group run this Sunday. Instead I invite everyone to participate in the Marin Memorial Day Races. (Click link for full race details)
Marin Memorial Day Races Details:
When: Monday, May 25
Time: 5k start 8am, 10k Start 8:30
Where: College of Marin, Kentfield
Fees: $35
Please arrive at no later than 8am if you plan to participate in the 10k. This will allow time for parking, registration, bathrooms, and warmup. Also, remember that there are track races (1mile and shorter) for younger family members.
Next Sunday (May 31) – We will be running a full Practice Dipsea. We will depart from Old Mill Park at 10am and run the entire dipsea (including shortcuts) and finishing at Stinson Beach where we will have a family picnic. Please bring the family and feel free to contribute to the picnic. Parents please arrange to pick up from Stinson Beach.
Sunday, May 7 – We will be doing a light 3 mile run across the Golden Gate Bridge and back as we taper for the Dipsea. For this run we will meet at the GG bridge Northwest parking area at 10am.
Sunday, May 14 – Dipsea Race. Visit Dipsea.org to determine your start time.
