Essentials of Strength Training for Runners this Thursday

Parents and Runners,

 
Summer Running has begun!!! If you have not had the chance to do so already, please check out the Summer Calendar.
 
Join us this Thursday (June 20th) as well as next thursday (June 27) at Tennessee Valley at 4pm for the Little’s Run (ages 7-10), followed by a light run  and Essentials Strength Training for Runners at 5:30 (all ages $25). This circuit style training will focus on strengthening hips, ankles and core.
 
This strength training is good for all runners so parents are encouraged to join in on this class. Hint: please bring a yoga mat if you are opposed to laying in the grass. 
 
There will be no group run this Sunday (June 23) 😦
 
Next Sunday (June 30) our Sunday Group Run will take us on one of my favorite Bay area trails, from Tennessee Valley to Muir Beach. Please meet @ Tennessee Valley at 10am, and we will arrange rides for everyone back from Muir Beach.
 
Also, please stop by the Marin Youth Trail Runs Facebook Page and support Zach as he prepares for the Pacific Association Junior Olympic Championships this weekend.
