Parents and Runners,
Sunday’s run was a muddy wet good time. Thanks to everyone that braved the wet weather to participate.
Make sure to submit your applications as soon as possible after they become available on the dipsea.org website, and don’t forget to have your runner include a note about why participating in the Dipsea is important to them (aka sob story.) Also note that the time the application is scheduled to become available is 4pm this year, which is different from previous years. I am not sure the reason for the change, but please plan accordingly.
This Sunday we will meet at White Hill Middle School at 8:30 am. This will be our first TCRS Race in preparation for the Dipsea. For our first race this one is a doozy, but I am confident that all of our runners can complete the course. The course is a 6.6 mile loop to the top of Loma Alta and back (course map.) Race starts at 9am sharp. TCRS Info.
Parents are welcome and encouraged to participate. Simply register before the race.
